Your Tasks
- Develop and Execute Regional Growth Strategies
Spearhead strategic initiatives for key clusters by identifying high-potential market niches and crafting differentiated value propositions tailored to the dynamic Asia-Pacific landscape - Align Strategic Vision Across Functions
Collaborate closely with Cluster Portfolio Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution, enabling impactful go-to-market success. - Turn Market Intelligence into Strategic Advantage
Lead the collection and evaluation of regional market insights, transforming data into actionable strategies that inform product positioning and portfolio planning. - Identify and Shape New Business Opportunities
Drive strategic opportunity mapping in close partnership with Sales, Innovation, and Application Development teams to expand market reach and meet evolving customer demands. - Equip the Commercial Team with Strategic Tools
Oversee the development of compelling sales and marketing assets – from brochures to digital campaigns – that support lead generation and elevate the regional brand narrative. - Elevate Regional Market Presence and Influence
Represent the Life Science division in key industry events, ensuring strategic visibility and positioning in technical seminars, trade shows, and conferences. - Lead Strategic Customer Engagements
Engage with strategic customers and partners to refine the definition of unmet needs, validate product-market fit, and optimize pricing strategies across APAC markets.
Your Profile
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred, ideally with a strong foundation in business or science-based disciplines.
- Relevant Experience: 5–7 years in a marketing or strategic role within the food ingredients or life science industry, with proven success in product marketing, market communication, and trade show organization.
- Industry & Regional Know-how: Solid understanding of food ingredients and/or pharmaceutical markets in Asia-Pacific; technical expertise in these areas is a strong advantage.
- Language & Communication Skills: Fluent English is essential. Proficiency in Chinese and/or working knowledge of Bahasa is highly desirable for regional communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset: Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.
- Personal Qualities: Self-directed, resilient, and goal-oriented. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse functions and cultural contexts.
- Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to travel within the region (up to 20%) to support strategic marketing activities, customer engagement, and business development initiatives.
