The Vice President of Innovation leads the team who contributes to the identification of market needs, executes the development of innovative solutions, services, and business models for those market needs, and supports its market success through value-selling together with the sales & marketing team, for the food and pharma markets. This role contributes to the Divisional strategy and is crucial for its successful execution to position the company and the Division as a leader in its industry. The Vice President must show presence at least 3 days per week in Budenheim. There is no 100% Home-Office-Option available.

Your Tasks

  • Contribute to strategy execution of the Division with profitable revenue growth coming from successful market-driven innovation projects execution
  • Provide innovation vision and technical leadership to the Innovation & Application Development teams as well as the Research & Development team in the Life Science Clusters of Nutrition, Pharma, Savory Solutions and Baking
  • Ensure discipline in innovation project management principles and improve the innovation process when needed due to the market dynamics, while also fostering ideation and teamwork among all the colleagues in the team
  • Evaluate and manage risks associated with innovation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and market standards
  • Forster open collaboration efforts to introduce new and existing products

Your Profile

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Food Technology, or related field required.
  • Visionary leadership with experience in innovation.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and innovation portfolios
  • German and English (must have)
  • Present time in Office at least 3 day per week, no 100% Home-Office-Option
