Your Tasks

  • Initiate, manage and take responsibility for product and application development projects in collaboration with internal or external partners, including patent issues.
  • Conception, planning and management of test series in the application technology laboratory or at external research facilities Coordinate practical activities with Technical Support
  • Provide technical support to customers worldwide. This includes conducting customer visits and providing technical advice and presentations on existing and new products and application/product studies to maintain and grow customer relationships and business.
  • Documentation and presentation of technical issues and own results in an international environment with customers, at conferences and workshops.

Your Profile

  • German language skills at least B1-2 level, additional language skills desirable
  • Master's degree, optional PhD/PHD: Metallurgy, Mineralogy, Materials Science/Materials Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years work experience
  • Focus on iron, steel, metal processing, powder coating, high temperature applications
  • Relation to steel production
  • Open to new ideas
  • Project management experience
  • Agile, independent, solution-oriented work style
